Headed Home!

We headed home from the hospital as scheduled!

A few sights before we scooted out...
Coming home outfit that his big brother wore too.

Testing out the car seat...
soooo tiny in it!

Chick-Fil-A lemonade...
Family and friends kept these coming twice a day at the hospital -- mama's recovery drink!

Gorgeous flowers we received -- they totally helped with that "hospital smell"!

"Ankle monitor" pre-removal...

Last minute shots...
and we're headed home!

Adjusting to three is a little delayed as mama recovers from surgery - very anxious to be feeling better!
I've been blessed with lots of helping hands!
So far everyone has done well -- the bigs have been super sweet with him.
K loves to help out and J loves to kiss on his head!
Mac is happy pretty much anywhere as long as he's fed and has a clean diaper.
I forgot how frequently both of those things occur!! :)

More to come once my picture taking energy returns!

Counting Down!!!

So we've been a little MIA on the blog!
1) Because we are counting down the days to baby boy and
2) Because if I'm on the computer, I might be battling a Pinterest addiction! :)
So many fun things for the family!!
We are cranking out busy bag activities, organizational help, last recipes in the kitchen, etc. round here!

We've had fun counting down the days to the c-section.
Everything looked so bare after Christmas, it's been fun to throw attention onto baby boy!

Baby boy who now {finally, about time, etc.} has a name....
Jackson McVey Muncie
"Mac"

After much deliberation, input, and discussion {to exhaustion} sweet baby boy is named.
Kirkley decided today she liked it.  :)

There has been much nesting and many changes around here.
Thanks to my man and my mom who have been my co-nesters! :)
Biggest change...our big boy is in a big boy bed!
Yep, on a mattress in K's room!
In the process of investigating bunk beds...
He's doing pretty good and only up once a night.
Hoping that ceases after these three molars come in and his ear clears up!
I cannot remember who gave Jay this puppy when he was born, but he LOVES it.
Constantly snuggled up with it.
And yes, rockin the Buzz and Woody sheets till we figure out how we're doing this brother sister room! :)

Kirkley is soooo excited and has busted out all things baby doll in preparation...
She tells us constantly how busy she'll be with the new baby that Jay will need to play by himself.
She also thinks she needs to stay home from school to help me with the baby.
I told her that was sweet, but I think I can manage.  :)

Prayers for next Wednesday morning sooo appreciated!
Can't wait to get our hands on this little guy!
