embrace the camera

I don't have my act together often to embrace the camera, 

but this pic from the cookie walk last week is a pretty good representation of us day to day: 

Both boys ready to get into something but physically restrained so I can keep order :)

Jay's CBS Christmas Program

Jay had his CBS Christmas Program today and had a ball on stage!!
I know I've raved about CBS before, but my kids learn so much in it every week -- I love hearing what they come out with!!!

He loves singing these songs in the car and had just as much fun up in front of everyone!

This is what we saw the most of:

Kindergarten Christmas Program

Kirkley's Christmas program was tonight!  I love this of her waiting in the wings -- she's out of focus but so excited!

She has been telling us all about her snowflake debut!

Afterwards, we headed back to her classroom to pick up all kinds of Christmas treats her awesome teachers she has been working on!

Candle Lighter

 

 Kirkley was the candle lighter at her school today.

Each child gets one turn during the year so it's a big kindergarten deal!!  

Even more fun it was daddy's birthday -- a fun way to kick off the day!

The grinch is with us everywhere these days!

 And we ended the day with candles again!!!

Fall Recital

 K had her fall recital very informally in their classroom this year. 

She hasn't loved ballet this year, so this wraps up ballet for the year and she'll keep on with gymnastics.

 Fun to see her showing off all she's been doing!

Brothers loved it too!

 

 Wish it always looked this sweet!

And, yes, the Grinch was in attendance too!

Santa's Village

Santa's Village is one of the kids' favorite Christmastime activities!

Seeing Santa is always a highlight...Cousin Elle was not too impressed!

 This was the first year Jay attempted to carry on a conversation.

 

 

Thank you big kids for your genuine smiles...

And the "snow" is for sure a highlight!
