Daddy Daughter Date Night

I have to say, I'm grateful for nights like this!!
It sooo makes me think about treating each child to one really special night --
we aren't great at doing that on a regular basis!
K's night was tonight and we had such a fun week prepping for the big event.
Thank goodness, this last minute mama found the dress, shoes, jewelry, etc. all starting Wednesday afternoon.
So many fun details...
She loved this extra twirly dress -- her first year to pick!

Cute girlfriends from her class...

Mikata and TCBY still reign as the favorites for dinner and dessert afterwards!
She looked SO forward to this all week -- such a precious, precious tradition!!!

And, for fun, here are the date nights of the past:

Yep, they have been going since she was almost two.  Hilarious I know.

valentine printable luke 10:27

can't claim this one!
done by one of my fave college girls.
arrange it to fit in an 8x10 frame...

you're a CUTIE!

i don't have a thing around the house to signify valentine's day.
no decorations, cutely cut hearts, etc.
we're running a crazy schedule around here that i just realized i haven't discussed on the blog.
not for any reason other than not making time to blog.
so a story to come later.

for now, an easy, easy valentine that you can grab and print too.
i have 4 x 2 x 9 cello bags from nashville wraps to fold and staple these on with 2 cutie oranges inside.
i haven't jumped off the health nut cliff, K thought it was HIlARIOUS to tell the boys in her class
You're a CUTIE! :)

so right click to save and print.  one is just the image, the other is two to a page ready to print on cardstock.
the original is 4x6 inches, but it should resize well.

Mac is ONE!!!!

Can't believe our Mac man is one!!!
Had the best time celebrating our little guy!

We forgot a whole family pic at Jay's party so we overcompensated at Mac's!

Loving the riding toy with his sissy!

Lots of fun party food in the Hundred Acre Wood!
honey sandwiches, honey cupcakes, tigger tails, owl cupcakes, baby puffs, gummy bears, and trail mix favors

Thoroughly enjoyed making a mess of his cake -- not sure that he even licked his fingers!

K loving Lala's dog!  Asked me afterwards if she was ready for a dog since she'd been so responsible!

Love our Mac man!

embrace the camera

I don't have my act together often to embrace the camera,
but this pic from the cookie walk last week is a pretty good representation of us day to day:

Both boys ready to get into something but physically restrained so I can keep order :)
Nothing like wearing a 25 lb baby!

A little can't touch this...

And one more because I can't resist this nugget in his footie pjs one bit!

I love Emily's reminder to embrace the camera!!
Head to her blog to read all about it:

Jay's CBS Christmas Program

Jay had his CBS Christmas Program today and had a ball on stage!!
I know I've raved about CBS before, but my kids learn so much in it every week -- I love hearing what they come out with!!!

He loves singing these songs in the car and had just as much fun up in front of everyone!

This is what we saw the most of:
Thank you for a little midriff action, Jay!

And I think I've loaded a short video.  Click out of the email/reader to the blog site if it doesn't work at first:

 Fun fun morning!

The scripture they've memorized at CBS for Christmastime:
"The Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world."
1 John 4:14
