Thanks so much for the prayers, phone calls, emails, treats (Kristin, still enjoying these!), and encouragement! I drove to school this morning feeling so blessed with such sweet and supportive friends us. We never expected this when we moved here -- we knew our job situations were great and trusted the Lord would provide. And he has...in abundance!
Two great verses I've been claiming upon my return to the grind:
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart,
as working for the Lord, not for men.
Colossians 3:23
God is not unjust;
He will not forget your work and the love
you have shown Him as you have helped His people
and continue to help them.
Hebrews 6:10

I am so glad your day was great! Being a working mom is hard in some ways and so rewarding in others! Loved the verses! Kirkley is precious!
Hey Holly...I just wanted to say thanks for the verses! I've been having a really hard time at work lately and those 2 verses certainly put everything into perspective! I copied them down and put them on my computer so I can see them everyday! Thanks again!! Lacy
I love those verses...is is 187 days now? :) I know you are a great teacher.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I am a friend of Shealey's and happened to run into your blog. This post was exactly what I needed today. I am struggling with going back to work at the end of this month. I have a 4 month old and I am scared to death about leaving her. Thank you for the uplifting thought!
Thank you for the scripture. Awesome truths to hold onto. God will bless your efforts and hard work.
I MISS YOU!!! I especially miss knowing that when I get to work, I will usually have a "good morning" email, even though you were right down the hall :) I am so glad getting back to work went well. I too have those verses at my desk that you emailed me.
