Christmas Planning
I came across this article on a friend's blog last week and loved it! 12 Weeks to a Peaceful Christmas will certainly be necessary this year having a December baby! We are trying to get our ducks in a row for the arrival of Jay and Christmas. I'm really slacking on buying presents, but I have organized/updated our address labels and started stuffing stockings. Alex gets credit for remembering to order this:
So fun to see his name! What's your best get set for Christmas tip? Other things I want to do soon to get checked off: get together some sort of a Blessing Box (not sure that we'll do all of the days), get some cookies frozen, and finish shopping/wrapping! :)

OH thanks for reminding me- I looked at stockings but have not ordered yet! Is that one of the Lands End stockings? That's what we have always gone with, too! I'm very impressed that you are already doing stocking stuffing- that crossed my mind the other day... but I haven't followed through yet...
I KNOW it's bad timing to be getting a machine. I have this dream that my children are all tucked snugly in bed, I have limitless energy, and I choose to stay up late sewing delightful little dresses. That's the fantasy. The reality may be a little closer to it being several months before any sewing machine gets any use! But at least I'll have it ready. BTW, I ordered the stockings and actually made some Christmas purchases this week thanks to your example...
