This big boy is loving summer as well.
Jay does not, however, love any sort of baby float.
Cries his head off in them.
I haven't decided if I'm picking that battle yet.

Pics of him at the pool have been significantly harder to take as he's taken several dives head first into the water.
He sees big sis jumping off the side and does the same!
I think I'm going to see if we can teach him to shut his mouth and swim with the puddle jumpers.
He's tolerating those much better.
We welcome any tips on swimming for 18 month olds! :)
Jay's also a pro grilling assistant!
Love his giant bottom in this pic. Might have forgotten to put on a swim diaper.
We're all pumped grilling season is here!
Kirkley shouted, "Corn on the cob!" in the grocery the other day.
She remembers the 952 ears consumed last summer by our family!
Trying to get a jump on some summer fun plans.
Been looking at a few new sites with super cute ideas:
I love this bag of ideas...if only I was a sewer. Ours will be in list or jar form!
Thinking about ordering this ebook: Summer Survival Guide.
Yummy Summer continues to post ideas -- Kirkley keeps asking when we're picking blueberries!

And impressyourkids has tons of ideas that I always forget to check!
Any idea sites you love??
And as much as I love a plan, I did love this devo today that reminded me God doesn't always want my plan!

The bag link doesn't work, and I'd love to see it.
We had our first out door pool adventure today, and thankfully, it was super fun for all. Surprisingly Murphy was hesitant at first (she's pretty fearless and tends to think she's five), but she warmed up in the baby pool, and we all ventured into the big pool by the end.
I'll keep checking in on y'all, even if I'm not commenting.
Take care, and let's meet in Montgomery sometime this summer!

We are going to do ISR with Avery (21 Months). While at the beach this week there was a little girl there who was just over 2 and swimming all over the pool. I asked her mom how she learned and she said she had just finished ISR. So I checked to see if there is an instructor in Auburn and there is at Health Plus. Just go to their website and enter our zip and her info will come up. The program is expensive, but I feel well worth it. The mom said there were two 18 month olds in the program with her daughter. If you are interested their website is...www.infantswim.com
