In the time that we aren't at the pool, it is too hot to be outside for long! So we've been scrounging around for indoor activities. Pasta pouring and sorting has been this week's favorite. Of course sometimes it ends with pasta all over the floor, but she loves pouring and playing with the tri-colored Easter pasta I got on clearance. Notice the concentration in that tounge....

Other popular pasttimes are playing with stickers, coloring, and dressing up. So what's your favorite {cheap} indoor activity {that doesn't involve paint or markers}???

cutting up play doh with scissors - absolutely captivating.
also pressing it into molds (they're too little to really make anything that resembles anything on their own)
play doh isn't as messy or problematic as some people think.
I used to love playing Sharks. Okay this is going to be weird. I would spread out blankets and pillows and even shoes all over the living room floor (the ocean). I would have to jump from island to island (the blankets etc.) so I would not fall in where the sharks were. I think I was a little older than Kirkley, but man I would be occupied for hours, then worn out when I was done. I guess I was a simple child:) I hope everyhing is going great with you.
We practically live outside these days, but she's in the age where we read constantly when we're inside... so I'm looking forward to seeing the suggestions you get so I can remember them! We can't wait for your July 6 appt so we can find out who exactly we will meet in a few months!!
