The bow bug. Thanks, Ali, for a little inspiration! Not that I needed another hobby, but this one is so cheap to try and in the end, will save money! I had the best time last night playing around with different types of bows. Here are my first attempts. The blue one was my first try -- I didn't like that ribbon so I thought that was a good one to start with in case I botched it! I think we need a bow making night after the kiddos are down...
Also, here are some of the links I thought to be helpful. I still can't make one without looking at these step by step! Also FYI, ribbon by the yard is cheaper at wal market than buying it in the roll. And I use elastic thread to tie mine in the middle. A little hard to get it tied, but then it gives you lots of forgiveness to mess with afterwards.
