More Cakes

Scarlotte and I had our second to last class tonight. As we concluded class, I'm not sure that either of us improved this week! But we both left with pretty enough cakes. Tonight's lesson was on roses -- I only attempted one and stopped there. This week's cake has blue accents as it went to my school. I got a little bored with it and started doodling all over it. Anyway, here are the results!

It looks so good Holly! I love the swirls. They look like the ones that were on some of the layers of my wedding cake! Gourmet Tiger might be hiring... :)

That looks great...I'm very impressed! I think the doodling makes the cake! When are you starting to take orders?

OMG that cake was freaking awesome. I never wanted for my piece to end. You need to do weddings!

I LOVED THAT CAKE!!! It made me so happy. I cut myself a huge piece, and I made myself nauseous forcing myself to finish it. What night are your classes? I might need to start lurking around the Muncie house on those mornings after....

OK, so the "doodling" was my favorite part! I'm so impressed. I'm also just impressed by the very smooth icing job beneath the decor. I have a hard time making mine so smooth!
