Bath Time & Airplanes

Mac got his first bath this morning...probably the longest any of our children have gone until their first bath.
If you know me well, you are shocked that this hasn't happened before day 12 of his life.
The funnier part is I didn't have it planned for this morning -- he took matters into his own hands and after a major blowout, we couldn't do without one! :)

The excitement continued today as we headed to the airport to pick up the next round of help.
My mama has been awesome!  She endured ear drops, steroids, nebulizer treatments, and 5am wake ups with Jay while we were at the hospital.
Then she endured me couch bound for two days the beginning of last week -- wish I could say I'm a good patient.
I am not and she deserves an award!
And she randomly organizes my house when I'm not looking.  Every corner needs it! :)

She gets relieved today with the arrival of Aunt Judi coming all the way from Texas to help for the next week!
The kids were pumped to go to the airport and see them land!
I had a mama tell me once when taking a pic of her big kids, she always took one of the baby too.
I thought that was sweet -- Mac was in attendance even if he didn't know it!

The big kids got to go out and test out the plane...
Thanks Uncle Mike for being an awesome pilot!
So fun for Aunt Judi just to hop on a plane and be here!!!

We hit lunch afterward...
I am loving this tag along stage where we can just sit Mac wherever.

Yay for family and backup! :)
Next week will be my first time solo -- so grateful for helping hands!!!

"The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped.
My heart leaps for joy
and I will give thanks to Him in song."
Psalm 28:7
