First Church Trip

We all took our first trip with Mac to church this morning!

Kirkley was so excited for him to come to "big church" and sit by her.  

She announced before we left for church,

"I have an idea!  Let's take our baby on stage and show him to everyone!"

Hilarious...not quite up a baby dedication yet! :)

Mac did great and basically looked like this through the whole morning!

We made it through church, greeting at the college service, lunch at Laredos, and Wal-Mart!

Then we all took hhhhuuuuggggeeee naps.  Every one of us!

Kirkley loves singing to him and has been really good with him.

He even seemed to mildly enjoy "this little piggie"!

right in the middle of snapping some pics, Jay came and tried to sit square on Mac.

These boys will be wrestling before I know it!

Getting three ready was not as crazy as I expected.

I'm finding that I had soooo much anxiety as to how we'd handle three;

it's not half as crazy as I'd built it up to be in my mind.

Granted, I still have had help during the day, again this coming week, and we're only on day 11! :)

And our friends are bringing amazing dinners -- they act like they can't cook then they whip up rosemary pork tenderloin, some of our favorite treats, or a Julia Child recipe!

We are spoiled for sure!!

The ladies in my Bible study prayed one day with me that Mac have a sweet disposition.

I kind of thought it was funny at the time -- I'd never thought to ask for that.

But I am certainly feeling those prayers answered!!

Especially when we're having to wake him up to nurse at 3am -- sooo grateful for the sleep.

Much better sleep than we were getting pre-Mac.

But my kids kind of "wake up" at 2-3 weeks -- we'll enjoy this while it lasts!

Needless to say, I've joined the ladies in praying for a sweet disposition! :)
